Bringing Philly Flavor to the Streets – One Scoop at a Time started as a craving for something familiar quickly turned into a passion-fueled business. Tinka Scoops was born from a simple idea: bring the bold, refreshing taste of Philly-style Italian ice (aka water ice) to the West Coast—and serve it with love, hustle, and flavor.

As a Philly native, water ice was more than a treat. It was a summer staple, a neighborhood favorite, and a tradition tied to childhood memories. But after relocating, I realized this sweet tradition wasn’t as easy to find on the West Coast.

So I got to work.

What began with research, taste tests, and a deep love for community turned into a full-blown vending business. Today, Tinka Scoops proudly pops up at events, festivals, school functions, and block parties—bringing authentic Italian ice and good vibes wherever we go.
